DoorDash Appoints General Counsel | Corporate secretary

DoorDash offers Tia Sherringham to become General Counsel, effective January 1.

Sherringham is currently the legal vice president of the food delivery company. She joined DoorDash in 2017 as an associate general counsel before assuming her current role in 2018. As a general counsel, she will continue to oversee the legal team of the company, in addition to her security functions. , computer science and business technology. Prior to joining DoorDash, Sherringham was a founding member of the Instacart legal team, where she worked as a sales and product advisor. According to a company announcement, she is a lawyer by training, having served as legal assistant to the Honorable Barbara Jones in the Southern District of New York before joining the law firm Keker Van Nest & Peters, where she represented clients in litigation, including Electronic Arts, Twitter and Google.
