Angelina Jolie won a legal battle against her ex-husband brad pitt concerning Château Miraval. vineyard. While the initial drama was figuring out ownership between the actors, Angelina shockingly sold her 50% stake to Russia’s Ogliarch Yuri Shefler, owner of Russian vodka Stolichnaya (also known as Stoli). The sale prompted a number of lawsuits in various countries, including one against Brad himself, who sued the Lara CroftTom Raider actress for the move, claiming he had no idea she was doing it.

Angelina’s legal team has now subpoenaed documents from Brad, 58, per Page 6 – as well as his company Mondo Bongo and its commercial director on Friday July 22. The ruling comes from a Los Angeles judge, who says Brad and his partners must turn over documents to Angelina’s team – despite Brad’s legal team asking the courts to deny Angelina’s request and his team for all correspondence and papers. Although Brad and his legal team wanted to appeal, the judge decided they could not wait for that appeal decision to be made – and everything must be handed over. HollywoodLife contacted Brad’s rep for comment.

The couple bought the winery in 2008, known for its world-class rosé, for $28.4 million. The massive estate was later where they married in 2014 with their children present Maddox21, Zahara17 years, pax18 years old, Shilo16 and twins Vivienne and Knox14.

Previously, Brad accused his Oscar-winning ex of “hurting” him, according to documents obtained on HollywoodLife, after selling its 50% share. Notably, the winery is now worth $167 million. “Jolie consummated the alleged sale without Pitt’s knowledge, denying Pitt the right of consent she owed him and the right of first refusal her business entity owed hers,” the earlier documents said. “She sold her interest with the knowledge and intent that Shefler and his affiliates would seek to control the business to which Pitt was dedicated and undermine Pitt’s investment in Miraval.”

The winery has been a bone of contention in the couple’s ongoing split, which happened in 2016. Although they tied the knot in 2015, the duo first tied the knot in 2005.
